The Critical Studies Programme at the Sandberg Institute is a two-year postgraduate programme for research and theory.
Laura Pappa is a graphic designer based in Amsterdam active mainly in the cultural field. She received her education from the Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn, Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and Werkplaats Typografie in Arnhem. Her clients include Kunstverein Toronto, Het Nieuwe Instituut, Museum of Estonian Architecture, project space ROZENSTRAAT and publisher Valiz, among others. Together with Elisabeth Klement she runs Asterisk Summer School, an annual graphic design summer programme based in Tallinn and in 2017 the two curated the exhibition Signals from the Periphery at the Tallinn Art Hall.
