Matter of Art (Ve věci umění) is a contemporary art biennale taking place in Prague in 2020, curated by Vít Havránek and Tereza Stejskalová and organized by tranzit.cz. The first edition of the biennale Matter of Art deals with questions of coexistence in a society in which people have ceased to speak a common language. The first stage of the biennale was inaugurated with a symposium titled “Who Are We Talking With? What Can Institutions Learn From Artists?”, taking place 17–18 May 2019 at Kampus Hybernská.
